McDonalds said it is partnering with the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute and CoolSpeak, a company dedicated to inspiring learning among young people, in presenting the 2013 USHLI Student Leadership Summit, a series of events taking place in 10 cities across the nation designed to motivate Hispanic students to live up to their maximum potential through higher education. Education has always been a step upwards toward success for many in the Hispanic community says Adam Salgado, VP of marketing at McDonalds in the United States. As a company that has played a leadership role since 1985 in offering Hispanics opportunities to get a college education, McDonalds continues seeking new ways to inspire young students to continue studying and take a university degree. Our association with USHLI and CoolSpeak helps us connect with students in a more powerful, more personal way.The USHLI Student Leadership Summit presented by McDonald’s is part of a nationwide effort this fall. To make sure its message about education really reaches students, the events will include the participation of motivational speakers from CoolSpeak, an organization that adds youth appeal when talking to high school students.
